May 20, 1985 Game 454: Tigers (23-11) at Angels (19-17)

Jerry Narron was the unlikely.  He would go 2-4 with 2 RBI.  His single in the 2nd would score 2 and give the Angels a 2-0 lead.  Rob Wilfong also was a tough out.  He was 1-3 with an RBI.  His SACFLY in the 5th made it a 3-1 game.

Mike Witt (3-4) pitched well for the Angles.  He would scatter 8 hits and give up 1 run in 8 innings of work.  Most of the Tiger hits came with 2-outs.  Witt was also aided by 4 double-plays.  Todd Crane (5-1) takes his first loss of the season.  He had some control issues and he would only 1 1-2-3 inning.  Donnie Moore closes it out for his 9th save.
