Thad Bosley ignited the Cubs offense today. He went 3-3 with a HR (1) an RBI and 2 runs scored. His HR in the 3rd tied the game at 1. John Stuper (3-3) walked 2 runs home in the 5th and a bases loaded single by Jodi Davis scored 2 to make it 5-1.The Reds only run off of Dennis Eckersley (6-1) came in the 1st on a Dave Parker double that would score Eddie Milner. Parker was 2-4 on the day. Eckersley pitched 8 innings giving up 1 run on 6 hits and striking out 9. Warren Brusstar came in for the 9th and get the Reds out 1-2-3 to close out the game.
