June 4, 1985: Brewers (22-26) at Royals (31-19)

Steve Balboni hit one over the fence as the Kansas City Royals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers by the score of 4 to 1 at ROYALS STADIUM. 

Milwaukee was unable to claim the lead after Kansas City went ahead in the 2nd inning scoring a single run using 3 hits. Kansas City finished with 10 hits while Milwaukee ended up with 6. 

Danny Jackson(4-3) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Dan Quisenberry was credited with his 14th save. Ray Burris(5-3) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 4 runs and 10 hits in 7 and 2/3 innings. 

With this win, Kansas City has a division leading 31-19 record. They have been 7-3 lately. Milwaukee has a record of 22-26 after the loss.
