June 5, 1985: A's (19-32) at Yankees (27-22)

Bill Krueger pitched a complete game at YANKEE STADIUM where the Oakland Athletics beat the New York Yankees 3 to 1. 

Oakland took the lead for good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring a single run. New York had 8 hits in the game while Oakland had 5, but Oakland had the more timely hits. 

The win went to Krueger(3-6) who allowed 1 run in the game. Dennis Rasmussen(3-3) was the loser. He surrendered 3 runs and 5 hits in 7 and 1/3 innings.
