Gary Gaetti jacked one out of the ballpark and had 2 RBI as the Minnesota Twins bested the Toronto Blue Jays in 11 innings 9 to 4 at EXHIBITION STADIUM. 

The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings. Minnesota won the hard fought contest in the 11th inning. The critical plate appearance was by Kent Hrbek who quieted the home crowd when he launched a three-run homer. Minnesota had a total of 11 hits for the game. 

Ken Schrom(4-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 4 innings. Gary Lavelle(1-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered 3 hits and 1 walk.
