June 8, 1985: Mariners (25-29) at Indians (22-34)

Second baseman Tony Bernazard hit a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Seattle Mariners 13 to 8 at MUNICIPAL STADIUM. 

Bernazard had a good evening at the plate. He cracked a solo homerun in the 2nd inning, stroked a base-hit in the 4th inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 5th inning. Cleveland had 19 hits for the night while Seattle had 13. 

Curt Wardle(1-5) got the win allowing 6 runs in 5 innings. Wardle got relief help from Ramon Romero who gained credit for his 1st save. Bill Swift(1-4) took the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
