June 9, 1985: Mariners (26-29) at Indians (22-35)

Al Cowens lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 4 RBI as the Seattle Mariners beat the Cleveland Indians by a score of 14 to 8. 

Cowens provided the offensive punch. He banged out a single which brought home a run in the 1st inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 5th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 7th inning. Seattle had 17 hits for the afternoon while Cleveland had 14. 

Mike Moore(10-3) went 7 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Keith Creel(0-3) absorbed the loss. He couldn't find the strike zone and allowed 7 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
