Charlie Hough tossed a complete game shutout at ANAHEIM STADIUM where the Texas Rangers beat the California Angels by the score of 2 to 0. 

Hough(7-6) earned his pay with a solid performance for Texas. He went 9 innings allowing 6 hits and 9 walks lowering his ERA from 3.59 to 3.29. Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 3rd inning with no runs scored after that point.
