June 11, 1985: Brewers (25-30) at Red Sox (35-21)

The Boston Red Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers locked up in an exciting one-run game at FENWAY PARK. The final score was the Boston Red Sox 5, the Milwaukee Brewers 4. 

Boston came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning when they came up with 3 base hits. The big moment was provided by Jim Rice who elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he ripped a one-base hit bringing home two baserunners. Boston won despite being out-hit by Milwaukee 13 hits to 6. 

Bob Ojeda(2-4) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings. Ojeda was helped out by Bob Stanley who recorded his 17th save. Ted Higuera(4-6) ended up with the loss. 

The Boston ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 35-21. With the loss Milwaukee now has a record of 25-30.
