June 12, 1985: Rangers (27-31) at Angels (24-33)

In an entertaining game at ANAHEIM STADIUM the final score was the Texas Rangers 9, the California Angels 6.

Texas erupted with the game winning runs in the 8th inning when they came up with 4 runs on 4 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Wayne Tolleson who disappointed the partisan crowd when he laced a single plating two runs. Greg Harris was great in relief and recorded his 9th save.

The win went to Dickie Noles(3-4) who allowed no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings. Ron Romanick(4-7) was the loser. He allowed Texas 8 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings of work.
