June 12, 1985: Giants (23-33) at Braves (21-34)

Atlee Hammaker pitched a complete game as the San Francisco Giants bested the Atlanta Braves 2 to 1 at FULTON CTY STADIUM. 

San Francisco scored the deciding run in the 8th inning. Hammaker stroked a single. Ron Roenicke came next and he drew a walk. Manny Trillo then lashed a single to load the bases. Chili Davis was up next and he grounded into a double play. Dan Driessen came up to bat and stroked a one-base hit. Atlanta was set down quietly in the bottom of the 9th. 

Hammaker(6-3) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Steve Bedrosian(2-10) was the loser. San Francisco now has a record of 23-33. Atlanta continued their losing ways and their record is now 21-34, worst in the division. They are 2-8 in their last ten games.
