June 13, 1985: Reds (28-30) at Braves (21-35)

The Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves locked up in an exciting one-run game at FULTON CTY STADIUM. The final score was the Cincinnati Reds 6, the Atlanta Braves 5. 

The game started off with Cincinnati taking the lead in the first when they tallied 3 runs on 2 hits.  

Mario Soto(9-4) got the win allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Len Barker(4-4) ended up with the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 6 runs in 4 innings. John Franco, after tossing a perfect ninth, was credited with his 10th save.

With the win Cincinnati now has a record of 28-30.  Braves Manager Eddie Haas was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
