June 16, 1985: Blue Jays (37-25) at Red Sox (37-24)

The Boston Red Sox nipped the Toronto Blue Jays 2 to 1 at FENWAY PARK in a hard fought contest. 

Bob Ojeda(3-4) was brilliant in relief and registered the victory. He didn't allow much, just 1 hit and 1 walk in 3 and 2/3 innings and whiffed an impressive total of 5 Toronto batters lowering his ERA to 4.61. Toronto threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short. 

Jimmy Key(7-4) took the loss. He pitched 7 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 walks.
