June 16, 1985: Reds (31-30) at Braves (21-38)

First baseman Tony Perez had 3 base hits and 2 RBI at FULTON CTY STADIUM as the Cincinnati Reds pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the slumping Atlanta Braves by the count of 10 to 4. 

The difference in the game was the offensive outburst by Cincinnati in the top of the 9th inning as they pummeled Atlanta for 7 runs on 5 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Perez who quieted the home crowd when he lashed a single plating two runs. Overall Cincinnati out-hit Atlanta 14 to 8. 

The win went to Joe Price(1-1) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning. Bruce Sutter(1-3) was the losing pitcher in relief. He allowed 7 runs and 5 hits in 1 inning. 

Pete Rose was ecstatic following the game, 'You love stealing one on the road like this. We just kept plugging away until we pulled it out!'
