June 17, 1985: Pirates (24-36) at Expos (29-34)

One run was the difference at OLYMPIC STADIUM as the Montreal Expos defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates in 12 innings 2 to 1. 

The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. Finally, Montreal pulled the game out in the 12th inning. Andre Dawson ripped a base-knock. Hubie Brooks stepped up to the plate and he ripped a base-hit. Tim Wallach then drew a walk to load the bases. One out later, Herm Winningham came to bat and hit a sacrifice fly making Montreal the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Montreal out-hit Pittsburgh for the game, 13 hits to 8. 

Gary Lucas(2-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing no runs. Jim Winn(1-4) suffered the loss in relief. He pitched 2 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 walk.
