June 18, 1985: Mariners (31-32) at Rangers (31-32)

Gorman Thomas launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at ARLINGTON STADIUM where the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 7 to 3. 

Thomas had a big day with his bat. He blasted a two-run home run in the 1st inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 9th inning. Seattle banged out 11 hits on the night. 

Mike Moore(11-4) allowed no runs in 5 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the victory. Roy Thomas recorded his 2nd save. Burt Hooton(2-5) ended up with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 5 walks in 4 innings. 

The Mariners record now stands at 31-32. The Rangers have a record of 31-32 after the loss.
