Danny Darwin had a strong outing and catcher Bill Schroeder had 2 base hits as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays by a score of 4 to 0 at COUNTY STADIUM. 

Darwin(6-6) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the Toronto batters. He allowed only 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings dropping his ERA from 2.96 to 2.74. Milwaukee finished with 15 hits in the victory. 

Doyle Alexander(10-4) suffered the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered 13 hits and 1 walk.
