June 19, 1985: Reds (32-32) at Giants (27-37)

Second baseman Ron Oester had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds outscored the San Francisco Giants in 11 innings 4 to 2. 

The teams were tied at 2 after nine innings. Finally, Cincinnati prevailed in the 11th inning. Dave Concepcion opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk. Dann Bilardello got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes. Bo Diaz then reached on an error. After another out, Oester stepped up to the plate and he doubled. Cincinnati had 9 hits for the afternoon. 

Ron Robinson(3-4) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Robinson got help from John Franco who was credited with his 12th save. Frank Williams(1-1) took the loss in relief. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 2 innings of work.
