June 20, 1985: Mariners (33-32) at Rangers (31-34)

The Seattle Mariners nipped the Texas Rangers 6 to 5 at ARLINGTON STADIUM in a hard fought contest. 

Seattle scored 3 runs in the decisive top of the 4th inning when they came up with 3 base hits. The highlight belonged to Dave Henderson who quieted the home crowd when he smacked a three-run homer. Seattle ended up with 11 hits for the game while Texas had 7. 

Mark Langston(5-7) went 5 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Langston got help from Bill Swift who was credited with his 1st save. Chris Welsh(1-1) absorbed the loss. He allowed Seattle 6 runs in 4 innings of work.
