Center fielder Von Hayes jacked one out of the ballyard at BUSCH STADIUM where the Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7 to 2. 

Philadelphia promptly took the lead in their half of the first plating one baserunner. Overall Philadelphia out-hit St. Louis 11 to 5. 

Shane Rawley(4-10) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 8 innings. Kurt Kepshire(3-6) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
