June 22, 1985: Astros (31-35) at Dodgers (39-27)

Rick Honeycutt went 8 solid innings and third baseman Bill Madlock had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the Houston Astros by a score of 5 to 2 at DODGER STADIUM.

Los Angeles delivered all the runs required in the 2nd inning when they scored 5 runs on 4 hits. That was all the runs Honeycutt(6-1) needed. Tom Niedenfuer was great in relief and recorded his 10th save.

Mike Scott(4-6) was the losing pitcher. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 7 innings and not allowing an earned run.
