June 22, 1985: Rangers (32-35) at Twins (29-37)

Kent Hrbek homered and had 5 RBI and Mike Smithson had an impressive outing as the Minnesota Twins really laid it on the Texas Rangers 11 to 1. 

Hrbek made sure the Minnesota fans enjoyed themselves. He laced a base-hit which scored a run in the 1st inning and lofted a three-run homer in the 5th inning. Texas was out-hit by Minnesota, 18 hits to 5. 

Smithson(5-6) allowed 1 run in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. The losing pitcher was Mike Mason(6-6). He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
