June 23, 1985: Rangers (33-35) at Twins (29-38)

40,589 fans watched an exciting game at METRODOME. The Texas Rangers topped the Minnesota Twins by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3. 

Texas came up with all the runs they needed in the 4th inning scoring 4 runners on 5 hits. The big moment was provided by George Wright who disappointed the partisan crowd when he banged out a single which was good for two runs. Burt Hooton(3-5) got help from Greg Harris who pitched great and earned his 11th save. 

John Butcher(3-13) ended up with the loss. He gave up 4 runs and 9 hits in 7 innings.
