One run was the difference at EXHIBITION STADIUM as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5 to 4. 

Milwaukee set the tone of the game in the first inning plating one baserunner on 2 hits. Milwaukee had 10 hits for the night while Toronto had 7. 

Jaime Cocanower(3-5) allowed 4 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Cocanower was helped out by Rollie Fingers who recorded his 12th save. Jimmy Key(8-5) was given the loss. He surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings.
