June 26, 1985: Rangers (35-36) at Mariners (35-36)

At The Kingdome the Texas Rangers outscored the Seattle Mariners in 13 innings 4 to 1.

Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings. Texas came out on top in the 13th inning. After an out was recorded, Curtis Wilkerson began the Texas spurt when he reached on an error. George Wright was next and he drew a walk. Oddibe McDowell then reached on an error which plated a run. Toby Harrah was up next and he ripped a single which was good for two more runs. The Seattle offense proved no trouble in the bottom of the 13th.

Greg Harris(3-2) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. The loss was charged to Edwin Nunez(2-1) in relief. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 1 inning and not allowing an earned run.
