June 26, 1985: White Sox (32-36) at A's (28-43)

Ron Kittle connected hit a homer and had 6 RBI at OAKLAND COLISEUM as the Chicago White Sox embarrassed the Oakland Athletics by the lopsided score of 19 to 3. 

Kittle enjoyed a big day at the plate. He belted a three-run homer in the 2nd inning, lashed a single bringing in a run in the 3rd inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 8th inning. Chicago bats were very productive in the 2nd inning which saw them plate 7 runs on 6 hits and the 3rd inning when they had 5 runs on 6 hits. Chicago dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings. 

Gene Nelson(8-8) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings. Chris Codiroli(3-9) suffered the loss.
