June 30, 1985: A's (29-45) at Rangers (37-37)

One run was the difference at ARLINGTON STADIUM as the Texas Rangers defeated the Oakland Athletics in 10 innings 7 to 6. 

The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings. Texas won it in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Glenn Brummer reached on an error. George Wright next to the plate and he tripled giving Texas the win much to the delight of the home town crowd. The score went back-and-forth with the lead changing 5 times. 

Dave Schmidt(4-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 6 innings. Steve McCatty(1-4) was hit with the loss in relief. He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing an earned run in his 3 and 2/3 innings of work.
