June 30, 1985: Phillies (28-44) at Expos (34-41)

The Montreal Expos defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 7 to 3 at OLYMPIC STADIUM. 

Andre Dawson helped send the fans home happy. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 3rd inning and doubled which plated a run in the 5th inning. Montreal out-hit Philadelphia for the game, 10 hits to 6. 

The win was credited to Dan Schatzeder(6-3) who went 8 innings allowing 3 runs. Kevin Gross(2-8) was hit with the loss. He allowed Montreal 6 runs in 5 innings of work. 

Montreal now has a record of 34-41. Philadelphia has a record of 28-44, worst in the division after the loss.
