July 6, 1985: Orioles (39-39) at Royals (46-34)

Sammy Stewart closed it out for Baltimore and right fielder Lee Lacy had 4 hits and 4 RBI at ROYALS STADIUM where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Kansas City Royals by the score of 11 to 9. 

Lacy had a big day against Kansas City. He ripped a one-base hit in the 1st inning, slapped a base-hit bringing home two baserunners in the 5th inning, tripled resulting in a run in the 7th inning and smacked a single in the 9th inning. A wild affair, this game saw the lead change 7 times. 

The win was credited to Nate Snell(2-6) who went 2 innings allowing 1 run. Stewart was credited with his 4th save. Joe Beckwith(5-1) took the loss in relief.
