July 6, 1985: Expos (38-42) at Astros (38-42)

Vance Law smacked 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Montreal Expos crushed the Houston Astros 15 to 3.

Law was really in 'the zone'. He delivered a one-base hit in the 1st inning, lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 3rd inning, launched a three-run homer in the 6th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Montreal kept the scorekeepers busy in the 3rd inning when they had 6 runs on 7 hits and the 8th inning which saw them score 5 runs on 5 hits. Montreal finished with 19 hits while Houston ended up with 8.

The win went to Bill Laskey(3-2) who allowed 3 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. Bob Knepper(10-7) took the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 6 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
