July 8, 1985: Expos (39-43) at Braves (22-58)

Bill Gullickson came through with a solid 9 innings at FULTON CTY STADIUM as the Montreal Expos beat the floundering Atlanta Braves by the count of 4 to 0. 

Montreal promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they scored 3 runs on 4 hits. That was all the runs Gullickson(7-9) needed. Montreal rapped out 7 hits for the night. 

Zane Smith(3-8) was given the loss. The Montreal ballclub's record now stands at 39-43. Atlanta continued their losing ways and their record is now 22-58, worst in the division. They are 0-10 in their last ten games and have now lost 13 in a row.
