July 11, 1985: Expos (39-46) at Reds (44-40)

Dave Concepcion hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds bested the Montreal Expos 5 to 2 at Crosley Field. 

Cincinnati tallied 4 runs in the 5th inning when they came up with 4 base hits. They would be enough to earn the win. Cincinnati finished with 13 hits while Montreal ended up with 10. 

The winning pitcher was Tom Browning(9-7) who allowed 2 runs in 8 innings. Browning was helped out by John Franco who recorded his 19th save. Dan Schatzeder(6-4) was charged with the loss. He got hammered, allowing 8 hits and 4 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings. 

With the win Cincinnati now has a record of 44-40. Montreal has a record of 39-46 after the loss.
