July 8, 1985: White Sox (37-42) at Tigers (48-32)

Chet Lemon hit one over the fence and had 4 RBI as the Detroit Tigers outscored the Chicago White Sox 10 to 5. 

Lemon had a good evening at the plate. He lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 2nd inning, tripled which was good for two runs in the 4th inning and doubled in the 7th inning. Detroit had 16 hits for the night while Chicago had 13. 

The victory was credited to Walt Terrell(7-7) who went 5 innings, allowing 5 runs. Willie Hernandez earned the save, his 18th. Britt Burns(5-11) was tagged with the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
