July 13, 1985: Expos (40-47) at Reds (45-41)

Nick Esasky had 2 base hits and John Stuper shutout Montreal while allowing the Cincinnati bullpen a day-off at Crosley Field as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Montreal Expos by the count of 2 to 0. 

Stuper(8-6) put on a good performance. He allowed only 6 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 3.36 to 3.16. Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning. 

Bill Gullickson(7-10) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 2 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.
