July 20, 1985: Yankees (51-38) at Twins (36-54)

Don Baylor slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the New York Yankees came back to win one over floundering Minnesota Twins, 8 to 7.

New York had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 2 runs. Don Mattingly led off and started the rally when he was hit by a pitch. Dave Winfield was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Baylor then bombed a two-run dinger. New York won despite being out-hit by Minnesota 14 hits to 11.

Rich Bordi(4-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 3 innings. Dave Righetti recorded his 19th save. Ron Davis(0-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs and 1 hit in 1 inning.

Ray Miller was not very talkative after his team's tough loss. 'I'm not in the mood for questions, but I'm sure Billy Martin will be glad to talk about the game as long as you have questions to ask.'
