July 22, 1985: Indians (35-60) at Rangers (46-47)

In a good matchup it was the Texas Rangers 7, the Cleveland Indians 4 at ARLINGTON STADIUM. 

Texas tallied 3 runs in the 5th inning when they had 3 base hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Gary Ward who came through for the home fans when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Both teams finished the game with 11 hits. 

The win went to Burt Hooton(4-7) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Curt Wardle(2-8) was given the loss. He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 2 walks.
