The California Angels registered 4 runs in the 6th inning and bested the Milwaukee Brewers by a 9 to 5 score at COUNTY STADIUM. 

Obviously without his best stuff, Kirk McCaskill(11-8) still hung on to pick up the win. He gave up 5 runs, 8 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings and surrendered 2 home runs. California had 12 hits for the afternoon. 

Rafael Lugo earned his 2nd save. Danny Darwin(8-9) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around by California, allowing 9 hits and 4 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings. 

With the win California now has a record of 43-51. With the loss Milwaukee now has a record of 38-55.
