Center fielder Andre Dawson had 3 base hits and 3 RBI as the Montreal Expos defeated the lifeless Atlanta Braves by the score of 11 to 4 at OLYMPIC STADIUM. 

Montreal scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning when they had 3 base hits. They would hold up as the winning runs. Montreal had 13 hits overall, while Atlanta had 10. 

Dan Schatzeder(7-4) went 8 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. Steve Bedrosian(2-16) was the losing pitcher. He couldn't find the strike zone and allowed 10 walks in 6 innings.
