July 25, 1985: Pirates (39-55) at Giants (40-56)

Jose Uribe blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI and Atlee Hammaker shutout Pittsburgh while allowing the San Francisco bullpen a day-off at CANDLESTICK PARK as the San Francisco Giants beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by the count of 8 to 0. 

Hammaker(11-5) was very good in the win. He gave up just 7 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings. San Francisco banged out 13 hits on the afternoon. 

Rick Rhoden(5-11) took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 12 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
