Jimmy Key completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Toronto Blue Jays bested the California Angels 6 to 1 at EXHIBITION STADIUM. 

Key(13-7) pitched a solid game. He didn't give up much, just 5 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings. Toronto banged out 7 hits on the afternoon. 

Kirk McCaskill(11-9) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 6 runs and 6 hits in 6 innings. With this win, Toronto has a 62-38 record. They have been 7-3 lately. With this loss, California has a 4-6 record of late, 45-53 overall.
