August 2, 1985: Expos (48-55) at Pirates (42-59)

Terry Francona had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Forbes Field where the Montreal Expos beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 4 to 2. 

Montreal brought 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 6th inning when they came up with 3 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Francona who silenced Forbes Field as he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Montreal managed 7 hits in their victory. 

The victory went to Joe Hesketh(10-6) who went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs. Hesketh got relief help from Jeff Reardon who gained credit for his 15th save. Rick Reuschel(13-5) was the loser. He surrendered 4 runs and 6 hits in 7 innings.
