August 2, 1985: Giants (44-59) at Braves (30-71)

Vida Blue blanked Atlanta in a very well-pitched complete game and Jeff Leonard slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Atlanta Braves 3 to 0 at FULTON CTY STADIUM. 

Blue(5-14) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 4.31. San Francisco finished with 8 hits in the victory. 

Rick Camp(4-8) took the loss. The San Francisco ballclub's record now stands at 44-59. With the loss, the Atlanta ballclub's record is 30-71, worst in the division.
