August 2, 1985: Orioles (51-51) at Indians (38-68)

Center fielder Fred Lynn hit one over the fence and had 5 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles topped the hapless Cleveland Indians in 11 innings by a score of 8 to 6 at MUNICIPAL STADIUM. 

Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Baltimore won it in the 11th inning. After two outs Cal Ripken opened up the rally as he drew a walk. Eddie Murray followed next and he stroked a base-hit. Murray took second on the throw. Lynn then banged out a single knocking home two runners. Lynn took second on the throw. Baltimore totaled 13 hits on the night. 

The victory was credited to Sammy Stewart(1-4) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. Rich Thompson(1-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 2 hits and 2 walks.
