July 31, 1985: Expos (47-55) at Mets (68-33)

Andre Dawson smacked a grand slam and Bill Gullickson was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at SHEA STADIUM where the Montreal Expos beat the New York Mets by the score of 9 to 3.

Dawson provided much of the offense. He ripped a single in the 3rd inning, banged out a one-base hit in the 5th inning and launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 8th inning. Montreal managed 15 hits in their victory.

The win was credited to Gullickson(9-11) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs. Rick Aguilera(3-9) was the loser in relief. He was knocked around, surrendering 7 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
