August 6, 1985: Brewers (43-62) at Rangers (50-55)

The Milwaukee Brewers offense put up 6 runs on the scoreboard in the 5th inning and had an easy time of it at ARLINGTON STADIUM defeating the Texas Rangers by a score of 13 to 7. 

Bill Schroeder had a big day against Texas. He cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 4th inning and smacked a single bringing home two baserunners in the 5th inning. Milwaukee provided plenty of action in the 5th inning which saw them score 6 runs on 7 hits and the 9th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 6 hits. Texas was out-hit by Milwaukee, 22 hits to 10. 

Moose Haas(9-10) went 7 innings allowing 7 runs for the victory. Rollie Fingers earned the save, his 19th. Chris Welsh(1-2) absorbed the loss. Milwaukee scored big getting 6 runs off him in 4 and 1/3 innings.
