August 7, 1985: Padres (60-49) at Reds (58-49)

Dave Parker smacked 2 homeruns and scored 3 times and Ron Robinson had a strong outing at Crosley Field where the Cincinnati Reds beat the San Diego Padres in 10 innings 4 to 3. 

The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Cincinnati won it in the 10th inning. Dave Van Gorder drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Gary Redus came to bat and drew a walk. Ron Oester then doubled making Cincinnati the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Cincinnati rapped out 7 hits for the afternoon. 

The victory was credited to Robinson(6-5) who went 3 innings, allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Goose Gossage(4-6) in relief.
