Jimmy Key had an impressive outing as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Kansas City Royals 8 to 4 at ROYALS STADIUM. 

In the 7th inning Toronto went on top for good scoring 3 runners on 4 hits. The big moment was provided by Len Matuszek who disappointed the partisan crowd when he tripled scoring two baserunners. Toronto had 10 hits for the night while Kansas City had 6. 

Key(15-8) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and allowing 4 runs. Danny Jackson(7-9) took the loss. He pitched 6 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks.
