August 18, 1985: Expos (55-64) at Cardinals (70-48)

Bob Forsch pitched 8 strong innings and he jacked one out of the ballyard as the St. Louis Cardinals outscored the Montreal Expos 6 to 2. 

St. Louis came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. The critical plate appearance was by Darrell Porter who brought the crowd to their feet when he clubbed a three-run home run. St. Louis ended up with 11 hits for the game while Montreal had 2. 

The win went to Forsch(12-7) who allowed 2 runs in 8 innings. David Palmer(5-13) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 8 hits in 6 and 1/3 innings.
