August 19, 1985: Twins (48-71) at Brewers (49-69)

Bill Schroeder had 4 hits and 6 RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers crushed the Minnesota Twins 19 to 5.

Schroeder provided much of the offense. He laced a one-base hit resulting in a run in the 2nd inning, doubled which scored a run in the 3rd inning, doubled plating three runs in the 5th inning and doubled plating a run in the 6th inning. Milwaukee bats were hot in the 5th inning which saw them score 6 runs on 5 hits and the 6th inning with 5 runs on 4 hits. The Milwaukee offense man-handled the Minnesota pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.

Moose Haas(10-11) got the win allowing 3 runs in 6 innings. The losing pitcher was Pete Filson(2-5). He allowed Milwaukee 6 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings of work.

'I had a big day, but there's a lot of credit to go around' Schroeder said. 'We played well together as a team.'
