August 20, 1985: Padres (66-55) at Expos (55-65)

Left fielder Miguel Dilone had 2 base hits and Eric Show was on top of his game, blanking Montreal on just 2 hits at OLYMPIC STADIUM as the San Diego Padres beat the Montreal Expos by the count of 6 to 0.

Show(14-11) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Montreal offense. He allowed only 2 hits and no walks in 9 innings. San Diego banged out 16 hits on the night.

Bryn Smith(8-13) took the loss. 'He came out with good stuff,' Dick Williams said about Show. 'He threw the ball good from the first pitch on.'
